Mission Statement

Never the Less, Inc. is a non-profit organization that builds healthier lives for at-risk girls in Cincinnati through inspired learning and appreciation of their self-worth.

Our Vision

About Us

Our vision is to help (1) reduce juvenile delinquency, (2) increase high school graduate rates and (3) break the cycle of poverty and feeling of defeat by building self-reliant, young women of the future.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to help young girls develop their self-confidence by understanding their worth through our after school and summer programming. Never The Less Inc. is more than a program–it is a mindset change that promotes character, values, and the ability to rise above circumstances to become a resilient, strong, thoughtful thinker, leader, goal-setter, and industrious young woman.

Leadership Team

Doris

Doris Thomas, CEO

Doris J. Thomas, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and CEO of Never The Less Inc.  Doris is a native of Holly Springs, MS where she graduated college with a BA in Business Administration. She and her husband are residents of Bond Hill, OH. Doris retired from the Cincinnati Enquirer in 2011.

Doris enjoys family time, praise dancing with the senior Silver Wings at Christ Emmanuel Christian Fellowship, shopping and having a good laugh with friends.

Doris is very passionate for at- risk girls, she has visited the juvenile detention center every Monday since 2011 and has seen the disproportionate numbers of girls of color arrested and suspended from school compared to others. Once girls are in the system it is very difficult getting them out, therefore Doris is diligently working to recruit girls for our after school empowerment program and our summer entrepreneurial camp to help keep our children busy, engaged, motivated and inspired.

Motivational Dream Center

Dream Center

Our Motivational Dream Center is for any young lady (age 12 to 17 years old) who has a desire to change from being mediocre to greatness! Never The Less has several programs to help our young ladies to rediscover their authentic selves and learn how to continue to communicate with others. We believe that these young ladies can become leaders of their peers and in their community.
